The First Day of the Rest of Your Life

So in half my drawings of Bernard, I mention his friend Gummyworms, but ya'll don't even know who he is! So this is him: Montgumery Wormsworth the third, pictured in the clearing of Thicker Forest right after he made his deal with the Culbute that traded his mortality for the Culbute's power of wish granting. To the right you can vaguely see some shapes that are the skeleton of the deer he just took the head off of. It's one of the tenderest pictures I've ever drawn of Gummy, because this is when he's first realizing that he can't be human anymore.
But that's enough narrative.
